How we keep everything free and still pay you
We don't run ads and we never charge parents. The Institute is funded by licensing behavioral video contributed by paid families in our pay-for-data program, to organizations building better research, therapies, and tools for children like yours. Families grant each use separately, and we say plainly what coding can and cannot hide.

You choose to contribute
Contributing is opt-in. The resource library and the courses stay free with nothing granted in return, whatever you decide. Video observation asks for the research permission instead of a fee.

Research, nonprofit tools, commercial use, and our own software are four different permissions. Refuse any of them and the rest still stand.

Licensing fees fund the free library and the courses. When a licensee sells what they build, you are paid $10 per 15 minutes of usable footage.

Asked by parents like you
Is everything really free?
The resource library and every course are free for parents with nothing asked in return, and that part has no conditions on it. Video observation is different, and we would rather be plain about it: you are neither charged nor paid, but you do grant the research permission, so your footage joins the research corpus while a BCBA spends their time on yours. The pay-for-data program pays you when you allow commercial use. Operating costs are covered by licensing behavioral video that families chose to contribute, under permissions they grant one at a time. Who is this for?
Parents and caregivers of children with autism, ADHD, or other diagnoses that come with challenging behavior. Any parent who wants evidence-based tools instead of guesswork will find something useful here.
Is this therapy for my child?
No. We provide parent education based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). It is educational information, not clinical treatment, and it works alongside care from your BCBA, pediatrician, or licensed clinician rather than replacing it.
